Anti-Allergy Enzyme Filter
The optional anti-allergy enzyme filter PAC-SK48/49/50KF-E contains artificial enzymes to filter out or reduce the level of bacteria*1, viruses*2, and allergens (pollen)*3.
*1: Based on tests by the Boken Quality Evaluation Institute
(Test No. 006109-1, 2), at least a 99% reduction of two
types of bacteria on the filter after 18 hours.
*2: Tests by the Japan Textile Products Quality and
Technology Center (Test No. 19KB060923-1) show at
least a 99% reduction of one type of virus on the filter after
24 hours.
*3: According to Japan Food Research Laboratories
(Test No. 10014572002-01), there was at least a 99%
reduction of one type of pollen on the filter.
Stylish Indoor Unit Design
A stylish square-like design is adopted for the indoor units of all models. As a result, the units blend in better with the ceiling.
Flockless Vanes
With the adoption of flockless vanes, dirt and other impurities can be cleaned off easily using a mild household detergent.
Optional Drain Pump for Full-capacity Models
The pumping height of the optional drain pump has been increased from 400mm to 600mm, expanding flexibility in choosing unit location during installation work.
Automatic Fan-speed Adjustment
In addition to the conventional 4-speed setting, units are now equipped with an automatic air-speed adjustment mode. This setting automatically adjusts the air-speed to conditions that match the room environment. At the start of cooling operation, the airflow is set to high-speed to quickly cool the room. When the room temperature reaches the desired setting, the airflow speed is decreased automatically for stable, comfortable cooling operation.
Fresh-air Intake
Units are equipped with a knock-out hole that enables the induction of fresh air from outside.
