Mitsubishi Electric utilizes solar energy, helping to reduce carbon emissions by over 800 tons per year.
Mitsubishi Electric Kang Yong Watana Co., Ltd. (MKY), the authorized distributor of Mitsubishi Electric electrical appliances in Thailand, continues to promote environmentally conscious business practices in line with the Environmental Sustainability Vision 2050 set forth by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation in Japan.

This year, the company has continued to use renewable energy from solar panels, with a total electricity consumption of approximately 1,500 megawatt-hours per year from power plants in Northeastern Thailand. This clean energy usage helps reduce carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions by approximately 843 tons annually, which is equivalent to planting over 34,700 trees.

This commitment to environmental responsibility is part of the company’s long-term goals to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030 and net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, aiming for a balanced and sustainable future.
